Kids are truly the foundation and preparing them for the future is vital – especially those students who are labeled in underserved communities. According to the US Census statistics, one in five families are living below the poverty line in Harris County. Many families struggle to survive, and students who are at-risk face many challenges on a daily basis. Kids Lives Matter International is a well-recognized organization determined to help support students and their families with not just basic necessities, but we also aim to spark the minds of our next generation for a better future. Our primary focus are the children and families in inner-city Houston, Texas, specifically in the Third and Fifth Ward areas. PLUS, we go beyond our borders and serve children and families internationally with active KLM branches in South America (Colombia), Africa (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa), India ( Mumbai), and Indonesia (Manado and Jakarta).

 

Kids Lives Matter empower and serve thousands of Houston area children and families by stimulating minds and shaping futures. Kids Lives Matter has been nationally recognized with community and leadership awards for our commitment to children and families in need. Our work is evidenced through our leadership and initiatives in Education, Housing, S.T.E.M.,  and Health/Wellness. Our life-changing programs and events enrich the lives of children and families by providing critical resources, educational opportunities and support for residents in underserved communities.

MONETARY DONATIONS - Kids Lives Matter welcomes your monetary giving, as funds are needed to purchase food, supplies, educational materials, toys, etc. Your donations contribute to KLM's operating expenses, as well.

NEW MATTRESS & BEDDING - We aim to provide each child with their very own bed to sleep on and bedding, which includes a mattress, bed frame, and bedding (bedspread/comforter and sheets).

SCHOOL SUPPLIES - An ample amount of school supplies the entire school year
